Stanhope House is a two storey Regency town house, Grade 2 listed, circa 1820. We have enjoyed our home for the last 15 years, often as a place to go to revitalise ourselves - be it in the summer, swimming in the sea, fishing for mackerel or just feet in the sand – yes sand if you know where to go! Spring and the May Day, Morris dancers and the Green man parade. Autumn, seafood festival, Bonfire night. Winter, local pubs with fires and Christmas pageant. We are lucky that we are situated just off the main street in the Old Town, which you will appreciate come the end of the day and you return to calm and quite of Croft road. Everything you should need is only a small walk away, local shops, Bakery, Coffee houses, Restaurants, Fish & Chips, Pubs and many Antique and other shops to browse, as well as all the trappings of a local seaside resort.
