There are many places to visit in and around Helmsley, The castle, birdof prey centre, Duncombe park, Shops and restaurants, Rievaulx Abby, Nunnington hall, The north yorkshire moors, Whitby, Scarborough, Pickering , York, Thirsk.
From June to September Helmsley has an Open air heated swimming pool open to the public,
