Property is a detached three bed roomed 2bathroom property situated looking onto the old Elizabethan Walls, overlooking the golf course with views of the sea. The railway station is at the end of the street approximately 800 yards away therefore a car in not a necessity. There is private parking for up to three vehicles in the drive. We are within walking distance of all the local amenities, and there is a family run pub at the end of the drive. Berwick upon Tweed is ideally situated for visits to Holy Island 8mile away, Bamburgh with the most majestic castle is 18 miles. Further afield is the capital of Scotland 68 miles but as we are on the main east coast train line there is a direct train. There are two golf courses one literally on the doorstep and the other is at Goswick and is a championship course that is approximately 5 miles away.
We live next door to the property and will be on hand if you require any assistance.
The Town is on the border of England and Scotland and has been fought over and changed hands thirteen times, we seem to have settled down and are English but a popular quiz question, what is the only English football club to play in the Scottish league - that's Berwick upon Tweed. There are lovely walks and country houses to visit and one the beach is within walking distance.
