It also has the added benefit of a shared rear courtyard to sit and relax after a busy day exploring the area. With everything on your doorstep, this really is the perfect cottage for guests to enjoy the local beaches, eateries or to use as a base to explore the other areas of our beautiful region.

Use of shared rear enclosed yard. Gas central heating. All power and bed linen included in rent. On street parking. One well-behave dog welcome by arrangement (regret no large dogs).

Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday. The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick. Nowadays the area has returned to its unspoilt origins and offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an excellent “links” golf course and some great rivers for fishing, as well as boasting miles and miles of splendid beaches and sand dunes to explore which afford stunning views of the North Sea. A short drive will bring you to Alnwick with its famous historic castle, The Alnwick Garden housing the Poison Garden which runs guided tours through dangerous botanicals and a variety of pubs and restaurants. Alnmouth is well situated for exploring Northumberland.
