This modern detached family home is situated in the lovely market town of Uppingham, gateway to the beautiful county of Rutland. Excellent walking and cycling opportunities are close by and locked storage facilities for cycles etc is available on request at the time of booking. There is off-road parking for two cars. Uppingham town is a 10 minute stroll away where you will find several pubs and restaurants/eateries along with two supermarkets and many varied and interesting shops.

Amanda will be available by email throughout your stay and will be able to address any queries you may have. Please confirm the number of guests who will be staying at the time of booking.

The market square is the hub of the town and the Friday market can provide all you will need for a comfortable stay. There are plenty of options for refreshment in the town with several pubs and cafes all within an easy walking distance. The Rutland capital town of Oakham (with its own castle) is a 10 minute drive away and the historic town of Stamford is 20 minutes by car. Rutland Water is only 3 miles from Uppingham where you can find cycle hire, lovely walks, bird watching and a small beach for children is available in the summer months. There is also an attractive golf course at Rutland Water in addition to a 9-hole par 3 course - visitors are very welcome. There are good train links from Oakham and nearby Corby with frequents connections to London and elsewhere.
