Welcome to Swans Farm, a stunning 4 bedroom family home. Offering unrivalled panoramic views of the Lune Valley and located in a rural location just east of Lancaster, skirting the Trough of Bowland. Head down a half-mile of unmade farm track and enjoy exploring the endless countryside that surrounds this magnificent farmhouse, which is a perfect home from home escape for all the family. With countless paths and cycle trails directly from the doorstep, you simply cannot get bored of exploring this stunning part of the country. Take a short drive (6 miles) to the small Yorkshire market town of High Bentham which boasts local shops, a good choice of pubs serving homecooked food and an 18-hole golf course. Step inside this spectacular farmhouse which offers breath taking views in all directions and boasts beautiful beams, exposed stonework, and neutral decor throughout Tastefully decorated and equipped to the highest standard, the home offers accommodation for 8 over 2 levels, has 2 outdoor terraces with the south west facing main terrace providing ample room for dining, relaxing and soaking up the sun.
Due to some fairly major changes to our work life during 2020, we've found ourselves relocating the family to Dubai. We love our life at Swans Farm and like to come home as often as we can but our new found surroundings are providing us with some much loved opportunities. We love to travel but family life is also important to us, and our girls have so far loved the move although we do miss our dog Keira!
The city of Lancaster is 25 minutes away and here you can find plenty of pubs and lovely eating establishments. The lovely seaside resort of Morecambe is just another 5-10 minutes away where you can enjoy strolls along the promenade, bowling and arcades. Should you choose to travel north, you are close but a 15-20 minute drive from the quaint market town Kirkby Lonsdale, offering a surprisingly large collection of pubs and shops along with a weekly market. Staying local then you will find the River Lune on your doorstep which is perfect for paddle boarding or kayaking, or simply don your walking boots and head out across the fields!
