Tan Y Clogwyn consists of a kitchen with oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, a living/diner with dining seating for six people and sitting area with open fire, and a utility. The bedrooms consists of a king-size, twin, and single, along with a ground-floor bathroom. Outside, there is an enclosed front garden with lawn and picnic bench, and ample off-road parking available. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. You’ll find a shop in 2.7 miles, and a pub in 5 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are all inc. in rent. Tan Y Clogwyn is a peaceful base for a Conwy escape. Note: Sheep in the area, please ensure dogs do not chase.

Locally known as Ponty, Pontypridd is the county town of Rhondda Cynon Taf in South Wales. It has been heavily involved in the heritage of Wales - it was the birthplace of the writers of Wales' famous national anthem, Mae Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau, and legendary singer Tom Jones was also born here. The busy market town of Pontypridd is home to award-winning pubs and restaurants and is the proud home of the National Lido of Wales in Ynysangharad Park, which also features an adventure playground and regular funfairs. As well as a golf course, Pontypridd offers a local history museum and the dramatic Old Bridge, which welcomes you to the town. Cardiff, the capital city of Wales, is just 12 miles away. Dominated by its spectacular castle, the lively city is home to some of the best shopping in Europe, fantastic nightlife and Wales’ top attractions including the Principality Stadium and the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff Bay. Other nearby tourist spots include Brecon (31 miles away) and the Brecon Beacons National Park, Caerphilly, Bridgend, Barry Island and Ogmore.
