Tara is located in a quiet side road . Steephill Cove beach is only a walk away , with Ventnor Park also a short walk away both have cafes and entertainment during peak times. If you wish to go further afield the bus stop is down by the park and provides the Number 3 bus into Newport and neighbouring towns and the Coastal route . Ventnor Cricket Club is also just a short stroll and is open for drinks and food during match days You can leave the car at home and walk down to the bus stop by the park which will take you around the island.
