At the Alamo Guest House we have an amazing Team of Staff without whom the Alamo would not be the same. Both the Front of House Staff and the Housekeepers are more than happy to help with any queries our guests may have.

With stunning views over Glasgow's famous Kelvingrove Park and a backdrop of Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum and Glasgow University in the distance, this elegant 17th century Victorian building is within easy walking distance to the City Centre and the West End. The Guest House is also situated in close proximity to a variety of restaurants and bars on Argyle Street and is within walking distance to the Botanical Gardens, Byres Road and Great Western Road.

Situated on the outskirts of the City Centre, Kelvingrove is a stunning area of Glasgow City that combines the old with the new - connecting the bustling city centre with the artistic West End. The bustling restaurant scene in Finnieston is a few minutes walk away and the Hydro just down the road. It is an area filled with the friendliest locals and refreshing diversity. With the some of the best dining in Glasgow and most popular cultural attractions in close proximity, Kelvingrove is an area of Glasgow frequented by tourists looking to get the most out of their visit to our unique and glorious city. From our dining room window you can see the Kelvingrove museum and Glasgow university. Being right next to a park you can enjoy a relaxing stroll .
