My house is a refurbished old farm house in a quiet village close to the beautiful Mourne Mountains. It is located on a main country road which does have some traffic, so please be aware of this, the road does quieten at night time and shouldn't disturb sleeping guests. You will have your own private kitchen & living room with TV (feel free to sign in, using your own apps) and DVD's provided. A large en-suite bedroom, with 1 double bed and a pull out single bed, or if you prefer, the living room has a large sofa for a third guest. There is a shop half a mile away for all your essential items and two larger supermarkets 5 miles away. Tesco and Lidl are in Newcastle, just 8 miles away if you need to do a bigger grocery shop. All essential items are provided towels, shower gels, shampoo, soap, sprays, shower cap, tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, condiments, & porridge oats.
I have 20+ years experience in hospitality and if you would like some pointers, I can make plenty of suggestions for your stay, to help make it a once in a lifetime holiday. Please contact me if you require any further local information. I am as available as you want me to be, if you prefer to do your own thing, you will have plenty of peace and quiet. I have a Staffy dog so if you are wary of dogs just let me know and he will stay out of your way or can be available for dog therapy sessions if required lol!
There are a few houses close by and is a very quiet neighbour hood. There is free, private off street parking and if the space is available, please park vertically beside the doorstep (there is enough room for 2 vehicles). There is a bus stop just outside on the main Rathfriland to Castlewellan and Newry to Downpatrick / Newcastle route.
