Hosting three bedrooms, including a ground-floor double, a double and a ground-floor twin, along with a ground-floor bathroom and a shower room, this property can sleep up to six guests. There is also a first-floor open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside there is private parking and an enclosed, rear garden with furniture. The Barn is a well-equipped, pleasant base for a family getaway to the North Pennines. Note: please can guests bring their own towels for the hot tub.

Frosterley is a quaint village in an area described as England's last wilderness, whilst also within reach of Durham and Newcastle, offering the best of both rural and city escapes. Guests can enjoy two traditional pubs, a convenience store and a village green.
