The property is set in a quiet village location five minutes from the river Dart. The double room is clean, relaxing and quirky with en-suite. The second room is a place to relax on a sofa with the TV, coffee and tea facilities and a selection of goodies on arrival. Continental breakfast can be arranged if required at an additional cost. Your free to come and go as you please. My aim is to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

As a host I just want to make your stay a happy, memorable experience. I’m a keen horticulturist and enjoy walking, swimming and kayaking. A black Labrador is resident called Cuba who is very quiet and polite .

The property is situated 10mins walk from the village centre with its historic church and two pubs and restaurant . Stoke Gabriel village is situated on the science mill creek on the river Dart. It’s the ideal place for boating kayaking and bodyboarding . The river-shack is on the edge of the creek for those who like to relax . All round the village are beautiful walks . The small towns and beaches are a 15 minutes drive away. Exeter,Plymouth and Dartmoor are about 40 minutes. Along the river is the popular Dartmouth and Totnes. On the outskirts of the village is a vineyard and Agatha Christie gardens .This area has something for everyone. Walkers, bike riders and those who enjoy water activities.
