Located 8 miles from the historic cities of Bath and Bristol, The Carpenters Arms is in the tranquil and scenic hamlet of Stanton Wick, near the village of Pensford, in the heart of the Chew Valley countryside. The Inn offers free and secure parking, free WiFi, a pub restaurant and an outdoor seating area. Converted from a row of former miners' cottages, The Carpenters Arms features 13 en suite bedrooms, all located on the first floor. Each room has a comfortable bed, crisp bed linen, fluffy towels, toiletries, a flat screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The pub restaurant has an extensive wine selection and delicious food made with locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant caters for breakfast with a choice of a full English or other options, lunch and dinner. Guests will find plenty of attractions in the area such as the Chew Valley and Blagdon Lakes, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole Caves, Longleat Safari and Adventure Park and more. The area is also suitable for picturesque country walks.
