About this property

The Coach House is a boutique guest house situated on the A6, 1 mile north of the City Centre. The property is next to Darley Park, five minutes walk from Darley Abbey with its riverside bars. restaurants and the West Mill Wedding Venue. It is within easy reach of the Peak District, Alton Towers and Chatsworth House. All room rates include a delicious breakfast served between 7.30am and 9am in the week and between 8.30am and 10am at weekends and on Bank Holidays. Our usual check in time is between 3 and 6pm, with check in outside these times by arrangement. For guaranteed off street parking we have 3 reservable UK standard sized parking spaces for a fee of £10 per space, per day (subject to availability). Due to the dimensions of our parking spaces we do not recommend them for larger vehicles or nervous parkers. Early check-ins from 12pm and late check-outs till 12pm are available for a fee of £25 each (subject to availability). We welcome pets in all but room 7, at a cost of £20 per stay. Our individually styled rooms offer sumptuous beds, luxury bathrooms, tea/coffee making facilities, a mini bar, hairdryer and Temple Spa toiletries. We pride ourselves on giving our guests a great experience, starting with the warmest welcome. We provide great hospitality in stylish and luxurious surroundings.

Property information

I took ownership of this fabulous B&B in June 2017. Since then we have completely overhauled the rooms and we now have 6 fantastic double rooms, 3 in the main house and 3 in the Stables, next to the main house. All are decorated in a beautiful individual style

Neighbourhood information

We are located on the main A6 one mile from Derby City Centre which is accessible by a 20 minute walk or short hop on the local bus which leaves from outside our B&B. The beautiful Darley Park is just on our doorstep and is perfect for walks, especially if you are accompanied by your four legged friend. The bacon and egg sandwiches in the local cafe there are definitely worth the pit stop if you've worked up a hearty appetite! Derby University is also a short walk away of you're visiting friends and family there. We are conveniently located for the wedding venue in the historic Darley Abbey Mills - the fantastically renovated West Mill. In fact we are the only accommodation within staggering distance which you may thank us for should you be fortunate enough to be attending a wedding there!
