Property information

The Coach House is a converted stable block situated beside a traditional English pub, The Haywain. The Haywain is situated in the heart of the picturesque East Kent countryside, on the A257 between Littlebourne & Wingham, with a conveniently located bus stop on the main Canterbury to Sandwich & Deal bus routes. We have a large beer garden where we regularly stage events and there is plenty of off-road parking. The Coach House itself is light and airy and serves as an ideal base to explore the Kent countryside and all it has to offer. There are wildlife parks, medieval towns and cities along with Cathedrals and castles. The usual shops bars and restaurants can be found too for those who prefer a bit more life away from the history! There really is something for everyone. We're even a short hop from France via the Eurotunnel or Ferry so why not have a day trip to stock up?

Shopping nearby Whitefrairs – Canterbury A wide range of chain shops including, Fenwick, Goldsmiths, Next, Sports Direct, M&S, Zara, H&M, Phase Eight, Primark and much more. In the main High Street, there are more chain stores along with a number of restaurants, café’s and charity stores including White Stuff, Pandora etc. The side streets tend to be where you will find the independent shops or restaurants. Westwood Cross – Thanet Again, all the main chain stores including TK Maxx, Next, M&S, Primark and loads more. There is lots of free parking on site. McArthur Glen Designer Outlet – Ashford As the title says, an outlet centre with loads of top brand names. Parking for is cheap too, just one pound for an hour. A few eateries and coffee shops.
