The market town of Helston and the attractive harbour town of Porthleven are only short drive and we are within easy reach to the wonderful beaches at Praa Sands, Hayle the Lizard and Marazion. West Cornwall, has an unspoilt coastal landscape ideal for walking holidays, cycling holidays and water sports. You may prefer to enjoy The Great Gardens of Cornwall, Cornish Mining Heritage or explore the ancient history, pick any direction from our central location at Crown House and you will be exploring the best west Cornwall has to offer.

Property information

Crown House & Lodges Bed & Breakfast offers you the independence of having your own space (the key to your own front door) in our purpose-built lodge building within the garden. All rooms have their own entrance with just one step into each room. The rooms are spacious and light, and breakfast is served in our designated breakfast room in Crown House. You also have full use of our purpose-built guest facilities within Crown House, this includes, a kitchen and lounge area and there are plenty of games for you to enjoy. We will set you up for the day with a delicious breakfast and then you have the choice of sampling local restaurants, grabbing a takeaway/getting it delivered or stopping off at a farm shop or supermarket and cooking yourself lunch or an evening meal. We also have a BBQ area for you to enjoy in the summer time.

Neighbourhood information

Crowntown is a semi-rural hamlet, not a town (despite its name, it was named Crowntown as it lies on the crown of a hill). We are situated on the B3303 in a rural area 3 miles from Helston, we are on the West Cornwall peninsula in a central position 5 miles from both the North and South coasts. Many of our guests are often seeking a quieter setting away from the coastal bustle or require a central location to visit Helston, Porthleven, Hayle, St Ives, St Michael's Mount, Penzance, Land's End, the Lizard Peninsula, Falmouth and of course The Eden Project. Our lodges are set in the garden of Crown House and enjoy countryside views, the lodges are named after local tin mines from the 18th & 19 century.
