Converted Flint Clad Barn nestled in the heart of the South Downs National Park.
Step inside The Dog and Trout, as we welcome you into our beautifully restored, pet friendly, flint-clad barn and… relax.
Downstairs is an open-plan living area with a fully equipped country style kitchen and a quirky wood beam dining table. The lounge area provides a plush, comfortable space to relax in after a day of exploring the South Downs and the nearby coastal towns. The wood burner adds a cosy and inviting touch on a chilly evening. You’ll find a chilled bottle of white wine in the fridge to enjoy.
Upstairs, guests have two king-size bedrooms, both with Smart TVs and en-suite bathrooms, which promise a restful night’s sleep in the peace and quiet of a farm setting.
French doors lead to the patio area where you will find a barbecue and outdoor furniture. The secure, enclosed garden is perfect for children and four legged friends to stretch their legs. There is enough private parking for two vehicles.
We would like to introduce ourselves before your arrival so you will know a little of what to expect. Martyn and I live in our home on the same plot of land as the barn with our two grown up children, two dogs and three cats. You will have complete privacy but we are a stones throw away so if anything crops up you are welcome to knock on our front door.
We would like to make your stay as comfortable as possible so if there is anything we can do in advance of your stay please just let us know and we will try to accommodate your needs.
