Riverside Figs(Homestay, Private room with en-suite bathroom) – A Warm Riverside Haven
Long ago, the River Irwell’s banks were lined with fig trees. No one knew where they came from, but their sweet fruit brought people together to share stories. As the city grew taller and lights covered the river, that warm, unhurried feeling remained in memory. We named this home Riverside Figs to pass that sense of comfort to our guests.
Located at the edge of Manchester city centre, this two-storey penthouse blends city convenience with riverside calm. The spacious balcony faces the river and tower district, overlooking Deansgate and Castlefield — shimmering by day, glowing with history at night.
Inside, warm wood floors, fig-leaf green accents, and floor-to-ceiling windows create a stylish yet cosy atmosphere. The open-plan living area connects to a fully equipped SMEG kitchen (pre-booking, ~20/session), with complimentary teas, coffee, and microwave. Upstairs, the private en-suite bedroom is carpeted and extra-large, ideal for rest or remote work. High-speed Wi-Fi and a projector ensure work and entertainment are easy.
A curated welcome basket, handwritten local tips, and thoughtful touches make this more than a stay — it’s like visiting an old friend. Whether for business, culture, or a quiet weekend, Riverside Figs offers the rhythm you need — and perhaps, as you watch the river drift past, you’ll feel the fig tree’s story for yourself.
Riverside Figs is where we share our lifestyle — a space to pause, watch the river flow, and listen to the city’s stories. We hope you feel as comfortable here as you would in an old friend’s home, and leave with your own Manchester memories.
Looking forward to meeting you by the riverside.
