Located in Higham, The Gildhall is a several hundred years old picture-perfect thatched cottage that has been updated to provide a warm and cosy place to stay with everything you could want in a home from home. The surrounding parkland and gorgeous mature gardens really set the scene for a wonderful peaceful break.

The Gildhall sits in a beautiful area, part of the Dedham Vale and Stour Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are numerous walks that allow you to enjoy the views over the gently rolling countryside with big skies, taking in the peaceful scenery. You are able to explore the landscape which featured in a number of Constable's paintings at Flatford Mill and Higham itself was included in the painting The Stour Valley from Higham.
