Nestled in the very heart of the historic village of Lacock, The Governor's House boasts a second floor bedroom complete with a kingsize 4-poster bed, delightful views over the church and village on 3 sides and an exceptionally high quality mattress and bedding, while the first floor offers a spacious lounge with a dining area, coffee machine and TV and a beautifully designed shower room. The historic building has been recently been refurbished in a contemporary yet cosy English style.

The Governor's House offers the luxury of guaranteed parking in the our large gated driveway (a rarity in Lacock).
A breakfast hamper will be delivered to your doorstep at a time of your choosing. This includes granola, pastries, yoghurt, fruit, jam and butter as standard but we will happily adapt to your dietary requirements and preferences- just let us know.
The suite includes a Grind coffee machine and kettle with complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate. A mini bar is stocked is beers, wines and soft drinks for your enjoyment. A price list is available on arrival.
Wireless broadband is included, as well as smart TV with Netflix and Disney plus subscriptions as well as all catch-up applications and live terrestrial television. A digital radio is available in the bedroom.

Please note that the suite is located on the 1st and 2nd floors with the bathroom and living room on the first and bedroom on the second.

The main attraction is often Lacock Abbey. With its expansive and stunning grounds for exploring and plenty to explore inside - the property is steeped in history including being the site of the invention of photography.
