Outside, there is an enclosed garden with patio, furniture, and charcoal barbecue, a patio terrace with furniture and off road parking for one car, plus EV charging available. Shop 0.8 miles, pub 0.5 miles, river 0.1 miles, lake 1.4 miles. Two well-behaved dogs welcome, but sorry, no smoking. Stay at The Granary for your next picture-perfect holiday. Note: Living/dining room overlooks owner's garden. Note: One step with grab handle from snug to terrace and garden. The small pretty Northumberland village of Powburn is situated in the foothills of the Cheviots and surrounded by glorious countryside. The village has a shop and a wide range of amenities are available in the nearby market town of Alnwick. The village makes an ideal base for exploring the Northumberland National Park, Alnwick with its imposing castle (known to millions as Hogwarts School in Harry Potter!), the impressive castle gardens and The Treehouse Restaurant. The spectacular coastline, the attractive towns of Wooler and Rothbury and the well known National Trust country house and gardens at Cragside are all within easy reach.
