This beautiful property is The Great Hall of Edwinstowe Hall, constructed in 1701 for the First Earl of Scarborough. The property a stone’s throw from Sherwood Forest and neighbours Saint Mary's Church, where legend has it Robin Hood and Maid Marion were married. The Hall itself sits in the heart of the village and has many pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops within easy walking distance. it is stunningly decorated and furnished to a modern standard having recently been renovated. The Great Hal is a unique property ideal for large family gatherings
Rachael is the main host who after 20 years in teaching has become a fulltime host and cleaner. Rachael and Nik both love having the opportunity to share The Great Hall with others. They have worked tirelessly for 3 years to restore Edwinstowe Hall to it's former glory.
Edwinstowe is a real gem. There are few vibrant villages left but Edwinstowe is one! Please see the guide which tells you all about the wonderful Sherwood Forest which is less than a minute away on foot. It also tells you all about the fabulous resturants, pubs and cafes in the village. Throughout the summer holidays Edwinstowe comes alive with events daily. These are perfect for families. We are also situated within a short car ride of Hazel gap barn, Boughton pumping house an other popular wedding venues. f
