The Halcyon is an Edwardian building that has recently been refurbished to a good standard, overlooking the sea, with panoramic views over the English Channel. The Halcyon is located in the lower Meads area of Eastbourne, overlooking the ocean. Nearby attractions include Towner Art Gallery (0.2 miles), Eastbourne Lifeboat Museum (0.3 miles), and Congress Theatre (0.3 miles). It is 0.6 miles away from the centre of Eastbourne. Many travellers enjoy visiting Redoubt Fortress & The Pavilion (1.5 miles). Conveniently located restaurants include The Green Almond, Rosetto, and Sabaidee Thai Restaurant.

The halcyon is situated on south cliff than runs parallel with kin edwards parade. South cliff is elevated from king edwards parade and enjoys elevated views of the sea,and is opposite the holly well area of the beach. We are situated just off the western lawns where many festivals take place during the season,and the big wheel which is now in place.
