The Hive studio apartment, is located on the first floor of our family home, it is a 3 storey Victorian property with some traditional features. It is an ideal location for the beach or town centre, just a 10 minute walk to the lovely promenade along Bridlington's North Beach or a 6 minute walk into town.

Hi, Helen and Tony are very much looking forward to welcoming you to The Hive at Bramley House in Bridlington, East Riding of Yorkshire. Daisy our friendly Kokoni rescue dog, also lives at the property and may wish to say hello.

The Hive at Bramley House is only 0.4 miles (8 to 10 minute walk) to North Beach, the harbour and the town centre. Bridlington train station is only a 6 minute walk from The Hive, with good local and UK connections. Local supermarkets include Tesco's and Lidl. A good selection of restaurants and bars are all within walking distance of The Hive. Bridlington is a welcoming, friendly, seaside town with a thriving harbour where you can watch the fishing boats come in with their daily catch of lobster and crab, you can also catch The Yorkshire Belle here for cruises along the stunning coastline. Bridlington has two beaches, North Beach is a charming stretch of sand and pebbles with lifeguards for safe swimming. South Beach is a long stretch of sand which also has lifeguards on duty. The town has many traditional seaside amenities with amusement arcades, ice-cream parlours and fish and chip shops. There is a weekly market on a Saturday all year round and also on a Wednesday in the summer months. Local attractions include Sewerby Hall and Bondville model village, a leisurely walk along the coast will get you there in about 30 to 40 minutes or you can catch the Land train outside the leisure centre to take you there. A trip to Flamborough Head is a must, Flamborough Head and the lighthouse can be seen from Bridlington North Beach, the cliffs are an impressive sight and a haven for an abundance of wildlife. Whilst at Flamborough Head you may be lucky to see the seals resting on the beach. A bit further around the coast is North Landing a steep decent to a beautiful beach and depending on tide times you can explore the caves. Another must visit is RSPB Bempton Cliffs, here you can enjoy a walk and depending on the time of year you can see Puffins, Gannets, Guillemots and Razorbills. you may also be lucky to see Bottlenose Dolphins and there have been recent sightings of Minke Whales. Bridlington is a superb base for exploring the beautiful County of Yorkshire.
