Buxton is home to the lovely Pavillion Gardens, and the wonderful Opera House, designed by Joseph Paxon. Buxton is situated on the edge of the Peak District National Park, so places like Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, and the quaint village of Bakewell are only a short drive away
