The Jolly Boat is a five-bedroomed holiday home, situated alongside the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch narrow gauge railway line and open fields. A perfect peaceful retreat for large families and friends to gather and explore the local area. A well-equipped kitchen to prepare meals, a spacious living room with a log burner and private garden to enjoy the sunshine. Built around 1909 by the RFC Royal Flying Corps by 1919 the RFC moved to Manston and the four airfield buildings were acquired by a local builder and converted into dwellings, two of which were purchased by the author Edith Nesbit (The Railway Children) with her husband who had been the skipper of t
