Orion Holidays was founded 25 years ago by the owner, Mark Thomas. It is an independent, family-run, holiday cottage lettings business based centrally within the Cotswold Lakes region close to Cirencester. Mark and his friendly team's expert knowledge of the area, plus his close and long-standing relationship with many of the other local businesses, activity providers and suppliers, has played a key role in the growth and success of the business. Today with over 60 holiday homes under management and 25 years of supporting, our locally based team are passionate about sharing their love for this area of outstanding natural beauty and helping our guests have a wonderful holiday in the area.

The New England style offers an American twist to a very British holiday, set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. These self catering holiday cottages are amongst the finest in the Cotswolds and offer a lakeside haven. To make the most of their position, the master bedroom has a full length window overlooking the lake, allowing you to wake up to a truly spectacular view. In the living area French doors open onto your own private sun-deck with steps down to the pontoon/jetty. The neighbouring Spring Lake, which is a 10 minute walk away, can fulfil all your water sports aspirations with waterskiing, wakeboarding and inflatable rides all available. During the peak summer months it is advisable to book your session in advance. There is also the Lakeside Brasserie on Spring Lake which serves excellent food, fine wine and beers with live sports on the many screens available and, of course, lakeside views so you can watch friends and family enjoying the water sports. Set centrally in the Cotswold Lakes, the many local attractions, activities and water sports are not far away. There are also many lovely local restaurants, pubs and lakeside café’s that can be enjoyed. The Landings is only a 15 minute drive from Cirencester, ‘the Capital of the Cotswolds’. You are also only a short drive from the pretty village of South Cerney which offers various local amenities, including takeaways, pubs, and local convenience shops. The Landings ​is located within the Cotswold Lakes which is an area of natural beauty comprising over 180 lakes spread across 42 square miles.
