The barn has been minimally but beautifully converted. It is a fantastic large space kept warm by under floor heating plus the wood burning stove (logs provided). It’s perfect for 2 couples sharing a weekend away or family visits....and if you need more space then book the Little Fish for 2 more people next door.
Mark and I moved here in 2002 and converted the barn in 2007. We love welcoming people here to enjoy our beautiful property and to share our love of this stunning area where you can enjoy hiking, biking, water sports, shopping or visiting famous homes such as Wordsworth's or Beatrix Potter's.
Keswick is located 9 miles away, Cockermouth 3 and Ambleside 27. Our closest lake is Bassenthwaite Lake (3 miles) with Derwent Water, Crummock Water and Buttermere within 10 miles. Our property looks out to Skiddaw mountain and Helvellyn is 10 miles away. The historic city of Carlisle is 28 miles away.
