East Coker is a quintessentially English village, TS Elliot even wrote a poem about it. Full of great walks and cycling, just potter about in the lanes and follow your nose back to the Stable after a drink or two in one of the local pubs or a fantastic cooked breakfast in our village cafe. The main form of transport in our rural area is the car! Taxis are readily available and need to be booked (Uber isn’t here yet!). The nearest train station is Yeovil Junction (about a 5 minute drive) from where trains go to Exeter and London Waterloo with most station in between. Nearest airports are Exeter and Bristol, each about an hour away.
