In the heart of beautiful, rural Somerset stands Double House Farm, looking out over fields and the Somerset Levels towards Glastonbury Tor and the Mendip Hills. The three holiday cottages have been tastefully developed from the farm’s stone barns and outbuildings to offer comfortable, private family accommodation of exceptional quality in an idyllic and peaceful setting. Its an unrivalled spot for a country holiday or short break in any season, and perfect for families or getting together with friends.
Jono grew up at Double House Farm and looks after the holiday cottages and will make sure you have everything you need during your stay.
From Double House Farm, you can explore the ancient caves of Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole, walk in the Mendips or take to horseback in Exmoor National Park. There are lots of beaches within easy reach: perfect for summer picnics and winter walks, while historic houses and gardens – including Longleat, Sherborne, Stourhead and Montacute – are delightful in any season. Glastonbury and Street with their shops and restaurants are 5-10 minutes away while the beautiful Georgian city of Bath makes a wonderful day trip. Lose yourself in almost a thousand years of history at the majestic Wells Cathedral, or walk through the gardens at The Newt or art galleries and shops in Bruton.
