Jackie has been offering Bed & Breakfast for 27 years. Originally her and her husband Geoff were farming just 2 miles outside Boscastle. Geoff was milking his 100 cows and Jackie was offering farm stays. Then 14 years ago we decided to sell up, buy The Old Coach House and concentrate on running a guest house. Jackie now runs the business solely.
I love to walk along our beautiful coastline, with my lovely boxer dog, Teddie & I also love to cycle, although not in the immediate area, as it is very hilly!!!

The Old Coach House was built about 320 years ago as a coach store & stables for a manor house. In recent times it has been restored and modernised to offer a high standard of Bed & Breakfast accommodation. The house offers double, twin & family bedrooms and all have en-suite facilities, with either a shower or bath. We have our own private car park and a large garden, which provides an ideal place to relax, with a patio area, from which guests can admire the scenic views and perhaps a glass of wine. Our award winning Breakfasts are served in the spacious conservatory, which has the same stunning views. The Old Coach House is Number 1 on Trip Advisor in Boscastle!! Jackie is on hand to help with any aspect of your holiday, from suggested walks to advice about places to visit in the area. Nothing is too much trouble as we are passionate about personal attention and detail.
周辺エリアの情報
Boscastle is set in the centre of some of the most dramatic rugged coastline in Europe. Some of the historic cottages, built at the same time as the harbour, back in the middle of the 1500s, can be seen in the older parts of Boscastle.
One of the many scenic walks that can be taken to explore this area is along the path on the banks of the Valency River to St. Juliot's church or along the coast path to Tintagel. The curious Witches' Museum is also worth a visit.
Other nearby attractions include King Arthur's Castle in Tintagel, St Nectan's Glen with it's 60ft high waterfall & Crackington Haven or Trebarwith Strand, which has sandy beaches, ideal for surfing, swimming or exploring rock pools.
Other leisure activities include water-skiing or sailing at Rock, discovering the rugged scenery of Bodmin Moor or hiting bikes to explore the Camel Trail between Bodmin & Padstow. Padstow is home of t.v. chef Rick Stein's famous restaurant.
Trips further afield include The Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan & numerous National Trust properties and gardens. All these day trips and less than an hour's drive away.
