Originally a barn belonging to Winchcombe Abby and later the village Blacksmiths. Sarah and Mike have created a unique retreat in the heart of the Cotswolds. This is a perfect place to spend time with friends and family. Dogs are welcome.
Winchcombe is a historic town full of independent shops and award winning pubs and restaurants, not forgetting the famous Sudely Castle.
Sarah and Mike are looking forward to welcoming you to The Old Forge and are on hand to help you get the most from your stay.
The Old Forge is set in a private courtyard with 3 other cottages. The nearest pub is The Lion which is a 3 minute walk and serves amazing food, dog friendly and has a large garden. A small supermarket is a 3 minute walk away.
Winchcombe is a beautiful Cotswold town 15 minutes from Cheltenham with regular buses. The Old Forge has a parking space but actionable parking is very close by. The town has 4 pubs which are all dog friendly and serve fantastic food.
There is a range of independent shops and cafes.
The tourist information and museum are well worth a visit.
