Beautifully designed and elegantly furnished, this delightful holiday cottage’s former life as the piggery for the Galltfaenan Estate seems impossible to imagine! The owners of the estate have cleverly converted The Old Piggery to make it the perfect luxury dog-friendly Bolthole for two. You will love the fantastic views over the estate grounds and out into the Denbighshire countryside.

Neighbourhood information

The lovely little village of Henllan is a couple of miles away, home to the Llindir Arms – one of the few thatched-roof pubs in this area as well as 14th Century Church of St Sadwrn with its detached Belfry Tower. Also within three miles is the market town of Denbigh with a broader choice of independent shops, pubs and restaurants. When you’ve unwound enough and finished exploring your immediate surroundings, The Old Piggery makes a fantastic base for exploring nearby Mynydd Hiraethog (Denbigh Moors) and Snowdonia or head to the North Wales coast if you prefer. Chester is less than an hour drive away, likewise Anglesey. So much choice of things to do, you just may have to return again and again!
