New for July 2021, The old Pumping Station provides a unique and industrial look with a holiday cottage feel. Set in an idyllic location between the towns of Broseley and Ironbridge. The World famous bridge being less than a mile walk. The property originally housed the pumps that supplied the water uphill to the town of Broseley and some of the original pipework and valves having become a focal point in the conversion. Accommodation consists of an open plan living area with fully fitted kitchen, Dining and seating area. From the main living area there is a double bedroom and a bathroom, comprising high level toilet, basin, shower and washing machine. Outside of the property there is a driveway for two cars, private garden and seating area The later being a great place to enjoy the views out over the meadow and down towards the Ironbridge Gorge.
I'm a mother of 2, living nearby in the area of Ironbridge Gorge. Originally from Poland. Since 2007 I live and built my family in the UK. I love outdoor living, travelling, and exploring new places and cultures. Since 2021 I run a holiday let as a part-time job to work around a busy mum's life. Ironbridge Nestled in a spectacular wooded gorge stands a monument to British industry – the world’s first iron bridge. Crossing the River Severn, it was completed in 1779 and opened to traffic in 1781. It became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986 and remains an iconic feature of Britain’s industrial past. The Ironbridge Gorge is is known for being the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution and has collection of no fewer than 10 industrial and Victorian themed museums (such as the Blists hill Victorian village) that make up the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust. Alongside the history of the industrial revolution Ironbridge is also bustling tourist town and has many pubs, restaurants, shops and tea rooms. Broseley Just a short walk from Property is the Market town of Broseley, The town has many shops from where you can stock up on supplies including its own butchers, bakers and local convenience stores. there are also many pubs restaurants and local attractions Easily in reach by bus and car are the popular towns of Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Much Wenlock,

One well behaved dog and children allowed. (please be aware due to nature of the old pumping station exposed pipes, hard surfaces etc. Full supervision will be required as we will not take responsibility for bumps trips falls etc) Accommodation can sleep 4 although it is more suited for 2 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. The Chesterfield is a sofa bed but does only form a small double. We can provide a travel cot and bedding and or a high chair upon request.
