From the cottage there is easy road access to a variety of the north’s most spectacular scenery and places of interest. Enjoy a day exploring the Lake District National Park, the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and, of course, Hadrian’s Wall which is basically on your doorstep, or even a day trip to Scotland to discover the beautiful Scottish Borders.
