Located in South Perrott, a friendly village situated on the Somerset/Dorset border which supports an inn (100m) and Parish church.
A charming treat for wildlife lovers of any age may be found at the South West Deer Rescue centre, only 6.1 miles from South Perrott.
Sutton Bingham Reservoir is just 7 miles away and recommended for a stroll along the woodland trail, taking in the scenic views. The site supports more than 200 species of wildflowers and grasses, around 1,000 species of invertebrates, and at least 88 bird species.
The market towns of Beaminster, Bridport and the county town of Dorchester are all just a pleasant drive away.
The Jurassic Coast can be reached in just over half an hour, with plenty of opportunities for coastal and beach walks, searching for fossils and enjoying seaside activities.

The regal Fleet Air Museum , approximately 13.3 miles away, is devoted to the flying arm of the Royal Navy and will add plenty delight to the military minded.
