The Apartment is a newly built 5 star superior detached 1 bedroom ‘granny’ flat in an exclusive private estate within the very desirable Mauldslie Castle Orchard Estate on the Clyde Valley.
The Mauldslie Estate has amazing history, it was a regular visitor of Sir Winston Churchill’s Wife, Clementine, who’s family had connections to the area, her Father, Colonel Sir Henry Hozier, brother of the first Lord Newlands, Mauldslie.
We are available to our guests 24/7 for any questions to make your stay even better. If we are not on site you can contact us by phone incase of emergency. Our contact numbers are noted in our guest package upon arrival.
The Orchard is situated inside the former grounds of Mauldslie Castle Estate just along from Garrion Bridge in the heart of the Clyde Valley and is just 500 meters walk from the infamous Clyde Walkway. The Apartment is ideal for couples/Ramblers/Professionals looking for peace & tranquility. Our surroundings also make it perfect for outdoor enthusiasts or people who just enjoy the countryside.
The Orchard Apartment also comes with the use of a three hole putting green.
Parking is available on site. Bring your bikes if you fancy cycling along the twists and wynds of our beautiful roads/ countryside or your golf clubs with Carluke Golf Club a 2 minute drive.
Larkhall & Carluke train stations are 5 mins away with direct access to Glasgow Central
Station/Argyle St or Edinburgh Waverley approx 45 mins away.
There is a bus stop outside the Castle estate taking you to Lanark or Larkhall.
