The Pony Stalls has been completely redeveloped from its former purpose as a farm building, now incorporating all modern conveniences and offering comfortable holiday accommodation for up to six guests. Open-plan downstairs offers flexible living space for guests to enjoy this wonderful location in the hills with stunning views of Wimbleball Lake. The Pony Stalls has two bedrooms upstairs, each with en-suites. On the ground floor is a separate sitting room which can be used as a third bedroom, the sofa-bed can convert into a double for two guests (it's really comfy!) and this room also has an en-suite with shower. There are just two stone steps up to the front door.

The Pony Stalls is near (1 mile) the village of Brompton Regis; a small, rural village in a quiet location on the eastern side of Exmoor National Park. It was once a market ‘town’ and one of the largest in the area, divided into Highertown and Lowertown. The parish extends from the Haddeo Valley up to the ridge of the Brendon Hills. It includes Wimbleball Lake, a reservoir which can store more than 21,000 megalitres of water and offers all kinds of water-based activities and the hamlets of Withiel Florey, Bury, Gupworthy and Hartford.
The village pub is in the centre of the village, The George, a traditional 16th century village free house Inn, serving meals as well as drinks and is family friendly.
The community run village shop is located in the village hall, stocking essentials.
Dulverton is approx 5 miles from Brompton Regis and is known as the southern gateway to Exmoor. It's a pretty small town with a butcher, Post Office, fish & chip shop, greengrocer, late-opening supermarket, art gallery, hairdressers, guns and fishing tackle shop.
