Location, location, location. Situated in the very heart of the village centre on the River Dart, you can explore all of the facilities right from your doorstep as well as having access to the beautiful South Devon coast and countryside. This private ground floor apartment has been lovingly restored from what was the local Post Office for over 100 years. The olde worlde theme is complemented by luxury finishes such as a bespoke kitchen, new ensuite facility and a warm, snug fireplace.
Husband and Wife. 3 children grown up, nearly! Lived in this lovely, vibrant village for 20 years and owned the Post office for 13 of them. Originally from Beverley, E. Yorks. You are left to enjoy your stay the way you wish in private. But we are happy for you to contact us should you require any assistance or to help you find your way around.
This riverside village offers all you need for a relaxing holiday or a short break away. A walk by the river, stroll around the country lanes, take lunch in the pubs, it's all on your doorstep. A superb base to explore the South Devon coast, countryside and Dartmoor. A local bus provides transport to Paignton, including direct to the Zoo. A twice weekly bus provides transport to the local town of Totnes. There are train stations in Paignton, Torquay and Totnes, as well as numerous taxi services.
