The ‘Potting Shed’ is a peaceful and undisturbed single story annex apartment of a substantial historic Knaresborough house set within beautiful gardens with its own small courtyard and off street parking available for one car. It was used by the Au Pairs during the 60’s and 70’s and refurbished seven years ago to house the owners Son and Wife who were caring for their elderly parents one of whom suffers from Dementia whilst substantial refurbishment was taking place to the main house and latterly used for their children and baby who have recently moved to their own place.

My Parents bought the property in 1960 and I was born in the main house, I have worked in 44 counties but always returned to Knaresborough. I have a great interest in Local History and can provide numerous hints and tips on things to do in and around Knaresborough.

Ideally situated, a 2-3 minutes level walk from the heart of Knaresborough, so all amenities Shops, Restaurants, Pubs, Bus Station, Public Swimming Pool are on the doorstep. Train station is a ten minute walk The famous Knaresborough Castle 3 – 4 minute walk, Mother Shipton’s Cave and many other attractions are within easy walking distance.
