A cosy one bedroom cottage situated in the heart of Bury St Edmunds. The property can sleep up to 2 people with one double bed in the bedroom. Amenities and attractions within walking distance, you can explore the beautiful town centre of Bury St Edmunds. The entire house is yours with a private patioed garden and off-street private parking situated in the street opposite the property. The Space: Living Room: Comfortable space with a sofa and 2 chairs, Smart TV, WiFi. Books and games for your pleasure. Garden Room: Dining table with seating for four. Kitchen: Well equipped kitchen with electric cooker with top grill, four ring gas hob, extractor fan, built in fridge freezer, microwave and additional cupboard space. Bathroom: WC, basin and bath with overhead shower. Bedroom 1: Master bedroom with double bed. Bedside tables, built-in wardrobe and chesterdraws. Outside: There is a rear courtyard with seating for four. A free and private parking space just across the road from the cottage.
The cottage is walking distance from the town centre (Bury St Edmunds) where you can explore the medieval streets. The town centre is full of independent unique boutiques, coffee shops and restaurants. Including the first and only Michelin Starred restaurant in Suffolk 'Pea Porridge'. Only an approx. 10 minute walk from the cottage. There is a busy market every Wednesday and Saturday which sells locally sourced and made products. You can walk through and explore the beautiful Abbey Gardens free of charge to admire the 12th Century cathedral and surrounding ruins. Cambridge/Ipswich and further (e.g. London) can be reached by train. Train station is within walking distance. Local bus service.
