Neighbourhood information

Information correct at the time of writing. Walkers are truly spoilt for choice when staying at The Warren with many footpaths and bridleways covering miles of countryside with stunning views en-route, and all right from the doorstep. For those who love exploring and nature, there are walks in every direction, and for a unique treat head to Eggardon Hill which lies about 1.5 miles south-east of the village. The town of Bridport can be found less than a ten minute car journey away and is a thriving, quirky and cultural market town with a super reputation for its arts, culture, events and food. The town is a hive of activity with a mix of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. The regular markets held on Wednesdays and Saturdays see the two main roads packed with antique, flower and food stalls boasting local produce. West Bay lies just a mile on from Bridport and is an attractive and bustling harbour village. From here you can explore the dramatic and famous World Heritage site of the Jurassic Coastline. All year round dog walking at Cogden, a National Trust beach, is the perfect place to clear the cobwebs, with views of Portland in the east and Lyme Regis to the West. Furleigh Estates is only a ten minute drive from The Warren, where great tours of the vineyard are on offer. The nearby town of...
