The six bells is the oldest remaining public house in the village of Cliffe. With recent refurbishment and hearty food - this family friendly pub is worth a visit. With high quality accommodation, we offer a warm and welcoming place to stay whilst on your travels. For those of you joining family & friends for a wedding a Cooling Castle Barn, we are less than a 5 minute drive away, we offer a FREE shuttle service to and from cooling castle barn. (14 Days Noticed Required) If you would like to book onto a FREE shuttle service once you have booked please just give us a message.
We feel passionately about providing a local community focused pub, where everyone feels comfortable and welcome. If there is anything we can do while you stay with us or before your arrival please do contact us.
The Six Bells Bed And Breakfast is situated in the small friendly village of Cliffe.
The Bed and Breakfast is also only 1 and 1/2 miles from Cooling Castle Barn. Cooling Castle Barn is a popular wedding venue - we offer a FREE shuttle service to and from the wedding venue (14 day noticed required) - making us an ideal place to stay if your visiting for a wedding. Cooling village also plays a large part in the Charles Dickens book Great expectations.
Its location is only 5 miles from the historic High street of Rochester well known for The Charles Dickens museum and festivals. Rochester has history dating back centuries, there is so much to see and do in the historic city itself. you can explore the stunning Rochester Cathedral, founded in 604 and the second oldest in England.
Cliffe village is also known for cliffe pools RSPB nature reserve, an amazing place for keen hikers or bird watchers to walk along the Thames estuary.
