It boasts the famous Ruskin’s view, and from there are steps leading down to a river walk to Devils Bridge - all just a few minutes’ walk away from the cottage. The Snug is a grade II listed cottage in the centre of Kirkby Lonsdale and in one of the oldest parts of the town. It is a short stroll to all the pubs, shops and restaurants and also has a 13th century Market Charter with market day on Thursdays. Kirkby Lonsdale is well served by a Booths supermarket, a chemist, banks, a post office and many interesting shops to browse around.
