The Stables is the perfect cottage for family holidays, located just five minutes from the market town of Masham, home to both Theakstons and Black Sheep breweries. Situated in a wonderful, quiet, rural location at Hill Top Farm in Grewelthorpe, this hideaway enjoys the perks of this nine acre small holding with a small flock of Ryeland sheep as neighbours, and a few hens that provide guests with very tasty eggs.

On the edge of the village of the pretty village of Grewelthorpe in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural beauty. Within easy reach of many local attractions an excellent base for exploring the area. The small market town of Masham is 3 miles away, home to Theakston & Black Sheep Brewery visitor centres. Nolan Stacey Art gallery and many independent eateries including The White Bear. Enjoy wonderful walks through ancient woodland, grottos glades and waterfalls at Hackfall Woods. A 7 mile drive away Jervaulx Abbey, a beautiful setting of 16th century ruins, adorned with wildflowers, shrubs and roaming trees. Around 15 minute drive National Trust Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal offer a lovely day out. Head further West into the Yorkshire Dales National Park, there is Aysgarth Falls many walks with spectacular scenery, finish off with a cup of Yorkshire Tea at The Mill Race Teashop, or head to The Wensleydale Creamery in Hawes to sample some of the famous Wensleydale Cheese., you may even bump into Wallace and Gromit.
