The Tiddler is situated in a small development of holiday homes in the Lighthouse Field behind Hermanus Holidays in Winterton-on-Sea. It's a 5 minute walk to the village centre with pretty thatched cottages, and 5-10 min walk from long sandy beaches which are dog friendly all year round.
Guests at The Tiddler have access to the facilities at Hermanus, including the outdoor heated swimming pool which is open from late May to early September. It is right next to the childrens' play area and surrounded by a brick wall to keep out the coastal breeze. There's also wifi in the main building at Hermanus along with a launderette and plenty of parking on site. The Coach & Horses bar & lounge is at the front of the main Hermanus building with amazing sea views, and is open for drinks and food throughout the week. *Please note that opening hours at Hermanus Holidays do vary and the main building is usually closed in winter, so please check their website for up to date information.

There’s an excellent choice of walks right from the doorstep, and Winterton Dunes is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). It’s an amazing sight to see.
For cyclists there’s a great choice of routes and trails to enjoy. A little further afield the Norfolk Broads offers scenic boat trips or hire your own boat for the day. There’s also fishing, kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding available.
