Sitting just 1.5 miles from St Boswells, this pretty village boasts the fabulous, award-winning Mainstreet Trading bookshop, café, deli and antiques shop, the excellent Blue Coo Bistro at the Buccleuch Arms Hotel for eating out, as well as fresh-from-the-oven pizzas at Hunter Stables. The village benefits from a good butchers, small supermarket and the highly regarded Border Gunroom for those essential country supplies. For those who wish to eat-in but have the luxury of a pre-prepared dish for the start of your stay, The Platter Company in Kelso come highly recommended preparing delicious food platters and hampers or alternatively The Penny Bun deliver delicious deli grazing boxes and heat-at-home Neopolitan style pizzas to this area on a Saturday.
