The village benefits from a good butchers, small supermarket and the highly regarded Border Gunroom for those essential country supplies.
For those who wish to eat-in but have the luxury of a pre-prepared dish for the start of your stay, The Platter Company in Kelso come highly recommended preparing delicious food platters and hampers or alternatively The Penny Bun deliver delicious deli grazing boxes and heat-at-home Neopolitan style pizzas to this area on a Saturday.
