The property was even more beautiful than it is in the photos. We loved that it wasn't in the middle of town, lovely and serene. The location on the loch and the house were both beautiful. Can't wait to book again!

It is a big, big mistake to rent this house, if you intend to explore the Isle of Skye. No matter how attractive sightseeing usually is to you, it will not make sense to leave The View. Don't book this place just to stay overnight; do it only if...

Such a relaxed amazing place to use as a base for exploring Skye. As the name would suggest we spent most of our time looking out of the windows at the fantastic views - and that even in storm force gales and torrential rain! Have to say we were...

The View is simply exceptional and lives up to it's name. To see it is to believe it. A property with 2 floors, 2 en-suite bedrooms, 2 lounges, vaulted ceiling with floor to ceiling windows in the living room. The property garden extends to a cliff edge that goes directly to the sea. Constructed with the surroundings in mind, you can sit in the living room quietly watching the wildlife and experiencing nature from an arm chair in front of the fire. Otters, dolphins, pine martens and many other animals coexist in the natural garden and in the sea in front of the windows. Secluded on your own green bank, privacy is not in question. The heating is provided by an air source heat pump and the electricity by an array of solar panels, the environment was an important element in its construction. Honestly, come visit, words cannot do this justice. Make your own memories here.
We would be delighted to welcome you to Sleat, truly a sought after area on Skye. We started running short stay accommodation on Skye through Skye Serviced Accommodation in 2017, but the family have been in hospitality since 1985. Having branched out from running high end bed and breakfasts, we now offer luxury self catering units and pride ourselves on what we offer. Guest experience is what is really important to us. We try and point you in the right direction to assist you wit your stay here on Skye so as you can make the most of it, whether it is through the smart tablet you have at your property that will guide you through any appliances you have there and show you what is going on locally and where to eat, or a preparation email giving you local websites and information to enhance your stay. We also like feedback and are on hand 24/7 to pick up the phone and make your stay what it should be.
The View is situated on the Sleat Peninsula. Sleat is also known as the "Garden of Skye". This is a great location to explore Skye from and come back to luxury. Just 3 minutes drive from Kinloch Lodge famed for it's food. Broadford is a 15 minute drive away with local amenities. 15 minutes drive from Armadale ferry terminal and Armadale Castle too. 40 minutes from the heart of the Cullin mountains to the north.
