The property is a modern newly built apartment in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. Perfectly located for exploring the west coast and beyond. It is a warm and cosy retreat, a great place to get away from it all. We built the property with the environment in our mind and tried to be as sustainable as possible so we have an air to air heat source pump for heating and solar power to heat the water. For those of you that enjoy nature then you get great views from the balcony and if you are lucky you may see our resident sea eagles flying over or our family of roe deer that like to lie under the hedge. We have a small allotment onsite where we grow a range of fruit, veg and herbs. We grow everything organically and if you would like a veg or salad box during your stay this can be arranged.
Hosting for me is all about making people feel welcome and I really enjoy meeting new people. We love living in the Outdoor Capital of the UK and make the most of what is on our doorstep. We are keen paddle boarders and kayakers and any spare time we have we are out on the water weather permitting!! If we are not on the water then we enjoy walking and hiking all over the local area. We grow all our own fruit and veg and I really enjoy cooking and preserving our produce. We have a small garden nursery and garden design business onsite which keeps us busy. So it goes without saying we love growing things and being in the garden.
We are located in a quiet rural residential area. We are ideally located to access local walks, water sports and cycle path. If you are looking for places to eat and local bars we have many within a short drive and a hotel within walking distance that has a bar and great food served. We are just off the A82 which is the main transport link to lots of great day trips like Oban, Fort William, Skye, Mull. Loch Ness and Inverness. The list could go on and on.
